“We want to thank VP Racing Fuels and Lubricants for helping us create what we feel is going to be a great annual event,” Durrence Layne Racing Founder and CEO Mike Vaughn said. “They have been a great Marketing Partner to work with this season, and no Durrence Layne Racing Touring Division race begins until the field enters the VP Racing Lubricants Starting Box.”
In addition to providing the VP Racing Lubricants Starting Box, VP Racing Lubricants also rewards the driver at all Chevy Super Series and the Durrence Layne Chevrolet Dirt Late Model Series National Tour events that makes the boldest move in each race with the VP Racing Lubricant Smoothest Move of the Race Award.
VP Racing Fuels also sponsors the VP Racing Fuels Young Guns Challenge Series for Durrence Layne Chevrolet Late Model drivers 18 years of age and younger. These drivers compete for their own point fund courtesy of the VP Racing Fuels.
“VP Racing Fuels and Lubricants along with our friends at Durrence Layne Chevrolet, Buick, GMC in Claxton, GA have made it possible to give our 1,500 plus competitors that make up our two National Touring Divisions and four Weekly Racing Series Divisions an opportunity to run for some extra cash and recognition,” Vaughn said. “The points are over for all but the Chevy Super Series, and the Weekly racers can compete for the money and the prestige.”
