Dirt track racing is always a dangerous sport as dirt tends to be much more unpredictable than asphalt. Your car may hook up great in one corner and bicycle and flip in the next corner. If you throw jumps into the mix like the Lucas Oil Challenge Cup then the unpredictability only multiplies.
This was certainly the case when drivers Casey Currie and R.J. Anderson made contact mid-air after a jump and then it went south from there. Both of their trucks went into a wild series of flips with one actually landing on top of another competitors truck. Luckily, both trucks held up great and both drivers were able to walk away virtually unscathed from the accident. This spectacular accident is just another example of why you never look away at a dirt race as anything can happen.
