Another dirt track has hit the real estate market. If you live in the western United States and have dreamed of owning a race track, this just might be the perfect opportunity for you. Desert Thunder Raceway, which is located in Price, Utah, is now listed for sale at $250,000.
The 28-acre facility features a 3/8-mile dirt oval and has consistently been home to some of the best dirt track racing in the West. It is widely regarded as the fastest and largest dirt track west of Denver.
The track’s most popular event has been the Castle Country Clash, which is a three-day event that has traditionally taken place at the end of each racing season. The event has drawn huge crowds over the years and has featured six classes, including IMCA Modifieds, IMCA Sports Modifieds, and IMCA Stock Cars.
Positioned later in the year, the Castle Country Clash has always been one of the last races of the IMCA points season, attracting talented racers from across the country. Ricky Thornton Jr., Zane DeVilbiss, William Gould, and Jeff Taylor are just a few of the many well-known racers that have competed at the track.
The facility comes ready to operate and includes:
Grader (4-71 Detroit)
Mack 4500 Gallon Water Truck with Distribution Pump
John Deere Generator (115 KW, 3 Phase, 6 Cylinder)
Chevy Tow Wrecker
Multiple Ticket Booths
