2020 marks the fourth season for the American Sprint Car Series (ASCS) Mid-South Region. The upcoming slate has been released and includes 16 races at eight ovals in Arkansas, Missouri, and Mississippi.
The 2020 season launches on Saturday, April 4 at Tracey Clay’s I-30 Speedway (Little Rock, Arkansas). In fact, with seven dates the track known as “Hammer Hill” plays host to the tour more than any other venue. Four of those dates, including the COMP Cams Short Track Nationals on October 2-3, will be co-sanctioned with the Lucas Oil American Sprint Car Series presented by the MAVTV Motorsports Network.
Taking a pair of nights in 2020, Riverside International Speedway (West Memphis, Arkansas) goes green on June 6 and July 23. Similarly, Jackson Motor Speedway (Byram, Mississippi) welcomes the tour on April 24 and August 1.
Crowleys Ridge Raceway (Paragould, Arkansas), Greenville Speedway (Greenville, Mississippi), Legit Speedway Park (West Plains, Missouri), Monett Motor Speedway (Monett, Missouri), and Poplar Bluff Speedway (Poplar Bluff, Missouri) each join the slate with a single night of racing.
The ASCS Mid-South Region will again be under the direction of Terry Mattox and can be reached at (918) 838-3777 or by email at [email protected].
