The winner of Quicksilver Products “win a Quicksilver 357 crate engine drawing” was announced at this year’s PRI trade show in Indianapolis, Indiana. The drawing was held earlier in the year but the press was not notified until the trade show.
“The drawing for a Quicksilver 357 CT engine was held during the last race of the season to announce a new race series in 2019 with Quicksilver as the title sponsor of the Street Stock Performance Series,” said company spokesman Mike Horak.
“The engine drawing winner, Eli English of Benton, Kentucky, is a regular driver of the #06 car in the Pure Street Series at Clarksville Speedway in Clarksville, Tennessee,” Horak added. “Eli is now the proud owner of a Quicksilver 357 Circle Track engine. Last year Eli placed 9th out 56 drivers in the points championship during 2018. He can’t wait to race in the coming 2019 season.” We join the crew at Quicksilver Products in wishing Eli good luck in the 2019 racing season.
The Quicksilver 357 CT engine is based on a remanufactured engine block and cylinder heads. With a nodular iron crank, the 9.4:1 compression engine sports a roller camshaft, single-piece rear main seal, sealed four-barrel, dual plane intake, and sealed 7-quart oil pan. This economy engine runs on 87 and higher octane pump gas. A perfect sealed crate engine for factory stock and street stock type racing series.
