It’s that time of year when Speedweeks are starting to dot the schedule and-and-every weekend across North America. One of the toughest grinds of all comes to life this week as the 37th annual Cometic Gasket Ohio Sprint Speedweek comes to life.
The 2019 edition of the Ohio Sprint Speedweek features nine races in nine days at eight tracks throughout the Buckeye State. The grueling miniseries is once again being sanctioned by the Ollie’s Bargain Outlet All Star Circuit of Championships.
Opening event is slated for Friday, June 14 at Attica Raceway Park (Attica, Ohio). The ensuing slate includes the following dates:
June 15: Eldora Speedway (Rossburg, Ohio)

In addition, to the money that is on the line nightly, there’s an $11,000 Speedweek point fund. Included in the miniseries payout is a $4,000 check for the winner.
In order to be eligible for the Cometic Gasket Ohio Sprint Speedweek championship points fund, participating teams must have perfect Speedweek attendance, entering all contested Speedweek programs throughout the nine-day schedule. In addition, team owners must enter at least 50% of the contested Speedweek events with the same driver.
Hoosier tire is also awarding one tire certificate to each of the Top-10 drivers in the final standings.
