The Mississippi State Championship Challenge Series (MSCCS) Super Late Models are preparing to kickoff their 2019 campaign. The upcoming season marks their 19th year of operation.

Led by the husband-and-wife duo of Charles and Jannie Thrash, the MSCCS sanctions events in Mississippi and Alabama.

The current slate has the tour visiting seven tracks for a total of 19 races. In addition, more events are expected to be added in the coming weeks as area track’s finalize their schedules.

New for 2019 is the fact that all series races will pay at least $3,000 to win. This is a $500 winner’s increase over last year’s Saturday night features, and a $1,000 increase over many of Friday’s events.

The 2019 season opener takes flight on Saturday, March 16 at Jackson Motor Speedway (Byram, Mississippi). Hattiesburg Speedway (Hattiesburg, Mississippi) is the current location of the finale, which is slated for September 14.

The June 22 event at Tri-County Speedway (Pollard, Alabama) is currently the richest race on the 2019 schedule. A $5,000 payday is earmarked for the race winner.
