Magnolia Motor Speedway is eagerly preparing for the annual Clash at the Mag Presented by Big River Steel, which will be held on May 30, 31 and June 1.
For the first time ever, the Clash at the Mag presented by Big River Steel will see three Lucas Oil Late Model Dirt Series programs contested. Thursday, May 30 will be highlighted by a $5,000-to-win feature as will the program on Friday, May 31. The historic weekend draws to a close on Saturday, June 1 with a $15,000-to-win finale. A total purse of well over $100,000 is up for grabs throughout the three-day affair.
“This year’s Clash at the Mag is the biggest event in the history of Magnolia Motor Speedway. To have Big River Steel on board as the presenting sponsor makes it that much bigger,” Magnolia Motor Speedway promoter Johnny Stokes said. “With a Lucas Oil Late Model Dirt Series feature scheduled each night, it’s got the buzz among drivers and fans at an all-time high. I think I speak for everyone, when I say that the event can’t get here soon enough.”
Each night’s program will be filmed for a future airing on MAVTV.
The program on Thursday night, May 30 is headlined by a $5,000-to-win, LOLMDS program. In addition, the Mississippi Street Stock Series (MSSS) competitors will compete for a $500 top prize.
