For the fourth-straight year the Keyser Manufacturing Quarter Million Dollar Challenge will be on the line for Super Late Model competitors during the annual Wild West Shootout. In addition to nightly winnings and a point’s fund, racers will be gunning for up to a $250,000 bonus for sweeping all six rounds of action during the miniseries at FK Rod Ends Arizona Speedway (Queen Creek, Arizona).
If a driver can win all six events, he or she will receive a $250,000 bonus. If a driver can win five events, a $100,000 bonus will be issued. A $25,000 bonus is posted for a four-win effort, while three wins net a $10,000 bonus.
“We can’t thank Scott Keyser and everyone at Keyser Manufacturing enough for stepping up to the plate to post this massive bonus program once again,” said Wild West Shootout co-promoter, Chris Kearns. “Every year this program generates a ton of buzz, and we’ve had some racers get really close to grabbing some of the bonus money. Perhaps in 2019 we’ll see somebody hit the jackpot and win the $250,000 bonus!”
The 14th annual Wild West Shootout will be held January 5, 6, 9, 11, 12, and 13 at the facility located just outside of Phoenix. Super Late Model pilots will compete for a $5,000-to-win prize the first five nights, while the finale posts a $14,000 winner’s check. If a driver could sweep the series, he or she would receive a total of $292,000 in race winnings, point fund money, and bonus cash.
USRA Modifieds and X-Mos are also a part of each night’s program.
