Format And Payout Set For Ninth Annual Hockett/McMillin Memorial

With just a few weeks remaining until the ninth annual Jesse Hockett / Daniel McMillin Memorial at Lucas Oil Speedway, teams and fans alike are gearing up for three of the most intense nights of racing on the Lucas Oil American Sprint Car Series (ASCS) calendar.

Slated for September 19, 20, and 21 at the “Diamond of Dirt Tracks” the three-night affair brings together some of racing’s top teams in both winged and non-wing action.The POWRi Lucas Oil Wingless Auto Racing (WAR) League joins the Lucas Oil American Sprint Car Series for all three nights.

For events pertaining to the Lucas Oil American Sprint Car Series presented by the MAVTV Motorsports Network, all teams will compete each night with Thursday and Friday’s Preliminary A-Features paying $3,000 to win, $400 to start. Saturday’s finale will again dole out $10,000 to the winner. There is no pre-entry free for the Hockett/McMillin Memorial. The $20 draw on Thursday and Friday is the only fee collected by ASCS.

The event is also paired with the Racinboys.com ASCS Warrior Region presented by Impact Signs, Awnings, and Wraps.

The format for the 2019 event will remain unchanged from the previous year for the Lucas Oil ASCS. The format for the POWRi Lucas Oil Wingless Auto Racing League will be posted at http://www.powri.com. Drivers taking part in the wingless portion of the event will run for $1,377 to win in prelim action, with Saturday’s winner walking away with a $3,077 check.

Purse structure for each night is as follows:
Thursday and Friday:
A-Feature: 1. $3.000; 2. $1,500; 3. $1,100; 4. $1,000; 5. $800 6. $700; 7. $600; 8. $500; 9. $475; 10. $450; 11. $425; 12. $400 13. $400; 14. $400; 15. $400; 16. $400; 17. $400; 18. $400; 19. $400; 20. $400; 21. $400; 22. $400;

Any non-transferring driver will be paid $150.

Lucas Oil Speedway once again hosts the Hockett/McMillin Memorial.

Saturday:
A-Feature: 1. $10,000; 2. $5,000; 3. $2,500; 4. $1,500; 5. $1,250; 6. $1,150; 7. $1,100; 8. $1,000; 9. $900; 10. $800; 11. $700; 12. $600; 13. $550; 14. $525; 15. $500; 16. $475; 17. $450; 18. $425; 19. $400; 20. $400; 21. $400; 22. $400;

Any non-transferring driver will be paid $150.
