Durrence Layne Racing Series Rebrands With New Title Sponsor

Crate Racin’ USA recently underwent a branding change. After operating under the Durrence Layne Racing Series banner over the past two seasons, the Georgia-based series now carries title sponsorship from Hartsville, South Carolina’s Newsome Raceway Parts. The company also now serves as the official Chevrolet Performance Engine and Parts Supplier for Crate Racin’ USA.

Newsome Raceway Parts is a division of Raceway Chevrolet. They carry a complete line of Chevrolet Performance Engines and Parts for the three engines utilized by Crate Racin’ USA competitors, The sanction currently oversees racing in two touring Series and four Weekly Racing Series Divisions.

Crate Racin’ USA recently underwent a rebranding.

“Newsome Raceway Parts sponsoring Crate Racin’ USA is a perfect match because we benefit each other,” Crate Racin’ USA Series Director Adam Stewart said. “Newsome Raceway Parts helps Crate Racin’ USA fund its operations. Similarly, Crate Racin’ USA gives Newsome Raceway Parts direct contact to its customers that use Chevrolet Performance Engines and Parts.”

Crate Racin’ USA also has a network of certified rebuilders that are authorized to repair and rebuild the engines and reseal them with seals issued by Crate Racin’ USA.

“Newsome Raceway Parts is looking forward to the 2020 Crate Racin’ USA racing season and we’re excited to be the title sponsor for the series,” Newsome Raceway Parts Director of Wholesale Parts Tracy Haynes commented. “We stand committed to supporting this awesome program and look forward to working with everyone.”

Crate Racin’ USA sanctions multiple divisions throughout the Southeast.

Haynes said the competitors of Crate Racin’ USA will be working with the same people they have worked with over the past 15 years in serving their Chevrolet Performance Engine and Parts needs. Tim Bland and Debbie Fluett have joined the Newsome Raceway Parts team.

Tim Bland is the Performance Specialist and Debbie Fluett is the Performance Customer Service Associate for Newsome Raceway Parts.

“I am pleased to announce that I have joined the Newsome Raceway team, along with Debbie Fluett, another familiar face in the racing industry,” Bland noted. “Debbie and I will be available to provide support for engine and parts needs. We are looking forward to working with Crate Racin’ USA once again, and together we can make 2020 the best year yet.”

Newsome Raceway Parts Crate Racin’ USA sanctions multiple weekly divisions throughout the Southeastern United States. Sanctioned classes include Late Models, Sportsmen, Street Stocks, and Modified Sportsmen.
