The stars and cars of the TriboDyn Lubricants Carolina Sprint Tour are chomping at the bit. The pilots of the of the tour’s RaceSaver 305 c.i. Sprint Cars launch into their 2019 campaign this Saturday with the opening event at Sumter Speedway. The fourth annual Spring Fling is slated for this Saturday, April 27 at the South Carolina oval.
This Saturday’s lid lifter marks the first of 16 events on the TriboDyn Lubricants Carolina Sprint Tour docket.
It’s been a busy off-season for the tour. First, they welcomed TriboDyn Lubricants on board as the title sponsor. The company not only is offering 40% off its products along with free shipping to the series members, but they are also sponsoring a bonus at each event.
A whopping, nightly bonus of $500 is up for grabs. All drivers in attendance at a series race will be entered into the drawing. The feature winner of the race will draw a name out of a hat, and if the driver selected uses TriboDyn Lubricants products, he or she will receive the bonus. If the driver only uses either TriboDyn Lubricants engine oil or gear oil, he or she will receive $250.
In addition, the tour welcomes several contingency sponsors to the tour for 2019, including VP Racing Fuels.
Last, but not least the tour is under the nightly guidance of new race director, Andy Stapp. With Stapp at the helm, a nightly passing points system has been implemented. Drivers will accumulate points in their heat races, and their totals will determine the feature lineup.
