Bilstein Motorsports recently announced a special addition to their PRI Booth (Booth #2001) at this year’s PRI tradeshow in Indianapolis. New this year is the Bilstein University with shock tuning expert Kevin Rumley.
Rumley is a graduate of the University of North Carolina at Charlotte with a Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering. He has spent time as a lead engineer with CV Products developing and claiming patents on new racing components.
After he joined Terry & Bobby Labonte’s Longhorn Chassis company, Runley completely redesigned the Longhorn Late Model Chassis. Along the way, Rumley has established himself as a great Dirt Late Model engineer and crew chief with the record books documenting his success.
At The Show
The PRI Show held from December 12 – 14, 2019, at the Indiana Convention Center in Indianapolis, will play host to Bilstein University. All racers, crew members, and competitors are welcome to visit open sessions with Bilstein Engineer Kevin Rumley. A well-known shock tuning, chassis development, and data acquisition guru, Rumley will speak on topics such as shock loading, data logging, and chassis setup.
The goal of the session is to demonstrate the user-friendly benefits of BILSTEIN’s products to race teams and customers and educate them on how technical shock and setup knowledge can give them a competitive edge.
These sessions will allow attendees to:
- Get hands-on with BILSTEIN shock-building tools, pistons and accessories.
- Hear brief technical lectures on pertinent topics for your racing program.
- Attend Question and Answer sessions with industry experts.
- Learn just how easy BILSTEIN shocks are to work on and how quickly they can be built.
Those interested in attending tech talk sessions with Rumley should visit the BILSTEIN booth #2001 each day at 11 a.m. during the PRI show. Q&A sessions will be held throughout the show.
In addition to BILSTEIN University, BILSTEIN Motorsports will also welcome its newest team member, Tim “T-Mac” McCreadie. McCreadie will be displaying his new dirt track Lucas Oil Late Model in the booth. Information will also be available on the company’s new and exciting product offerings, including motorsport-derived muscle car dampers, a selection of AS2-R modular systems, and new SMX Series applications.
