ASCS Elite Non-Wing Doubling Up Memorial Day Weekend

Looking ahead to this weekend, a single night has become a double-shot of action for the ASCS Elite Non-Wing Series presented by Abilene Powder Coating.

Taking on the famed Lawton Speedway (Lawton, Okla.) on Saturday, May 23, Monarch Motor Speedway (Wichita Falls, Texas) has rescheduled their weather lost weekend to Sunday, May 24.

Saturday at Lawton Speedway opens at 5:00 P.M. with racing at 8:00 PM. (CT). The evening also includes USRA Modifieds, Limited Modifieds, and Mini Stocks. Admission is $15 for adults, $10 for Senior and Military, and kids five and under get in free.

Lawton Speedway is located at 3501 SW Sheridan in Lawton, Okla. More information, directions, and updates on Lawton Speedway can be found online at http://www.lawtonspeedway.com or by calling (580) 355-6417.

Admission on Sunday at Monarch Motor Speedway is $15. Pit Passes are $35. Front Gates open at 5:00 P.M. and racing is slated for 8:00 P.M. (CT). Additional classes include Tuners, Factory Stocks, Limited Modifieds, and Modifieds.

Both tracks are asking that everyone in attendance practice social distancing.

Hatched in El Paso, Texas in the mid 1980’s, Bryan Hulbert first became involved in racing at the age of 7 with the family Street Stock. Bryan began working professionally in racing as a track side reporter at the El Paso Speedway Park (EPSP) and Southern New Mexico Speedway (SNMS) in August of 2006 and became the lead announcer and PR Director at both tracks in July 2007 while working on a Marketing Degree at New Mexico State University. In September 2011, Bryan was hired by the Lucas Oil American Sprint Car Series and now the full time Announcer and PR Manager for the national series.
