The 20th-anniversary season docket for the newly re-named Schaeffer’s Oil Mid America Racing Series (MARS) has been announced. Officials with the veteran, Super Late Model tour have revealed the 13-race schedule of events, which will span March to August.
The 2019 champion will receive $3,000. Tanner English of Benton, Kentucky is the defending series champion.
Highlighting the 2019 schedule will be four events paying $10,000-to-win. These races include shows at Farmer City Raceway (Farmer City, Illinois), Fairbury American Legion Speedway (Fairbury, Illinois), Windy Hollow Speedway (Owensboro, Kentucky) and Brownstown Speedway (Brownstown, Indiana).
Windy Hollow Speedway and Federated Auto Parts Raceway at I-55 (Pevely, Missouri) weren’t on the 2018 schedule, but make a big return for the 2019 edition.
Thunder Valley Speedway (Salem, Indiana) will host a first time event on July 5. This will mark the first time that Super Late Models have raced at Thunder Valley since the 2006 season.
