Eighteen races at six tracks in Arizona and New Mexico. That’s the 2020 plan for the American Sprint Car Series (ASCS) Southwest Region.
Spread among six tracks in the Union’s 47th and 48th states, the season kicks off with the Lucas Oil American Sprint Car Series presented by the MAVTV Motorsports Network at Canyon Speedway Park on February 28-29.
Central Arizona Speedway (Casa Grande, Arizona) hosts the tour on March 28 and November 7. Additionally, fellow Grand Canyon State oval USA Raceway (Tucson, Arizona) appears on the 2020 with races on April 18 and October 17.
Making four trips into New Mexico, Aztec Speedway and Vado Speedway Park will split those visits with double-header weekends.
Aztec Speedway has dates set for June 26, June 27, August 21 and August 22Vado Speedway Park will welcome winged action on May 23-234 during Memorial Day Weekend then return for Labor Day Weekend on September 5-6.
In 2019, Rick Zeihl raced to the tour championship over Lorne Wofford and Colton Hardy.
