Hyperco engineers and manufactures precision, high-performance suspension coil springs, kits, and related components in support of original equipment manufacturers (OEM) and the motorsports aftermarket. We stopped by their PRI booth to talk with Greg Hazard about the latest products from the manufacturer.
Hyperco products have become a favorite among the racing, street performance, and automotive markets with products designed to improve the total performance, aesthetics, and durability of vehicles.
“In keeping up the motorsports market,” Hazard explained, “We have announced an entirely new line of performance springs which have been designed for the 2019 IMCA Modified class rules.” According to Hazard, IMCA has started to define the spring rules a little tighter to support the sanctioning body’s foundation of budget racing in the modified class.
“Hyperco supports the new IMCA rules that specify maximum and minimum spring free length and outside diameter for both front and rear suspension,” added Kelly Falls, vice president of Hyperco. “By using the newly optimized Hypercoil 9.9-inch free length front spring line, racers will gain a performance advantage with additional usable deflection while remaining in compliance with the 2019 rules.”
Hyperco’s new line of springs includes 9.9-inch free-length by 5-inch OD front springs, available in 350, 400, and 450-pound rates. These springs were proudly displayed at the PRI trade show in Indianapolis.
We were also shown the new Hyperco catalog for the 2020 season. It comes complete with a centerfold.
