The home town hero Kyle Larson made history last year as he took on the World of Outlaws at his home track of Silver Dollar Speedway for The Gold Cup. The nineteen year-old at the time became the youngest Gold Cup Champion in history and first local in quite some time. This weekend Larson is returning home to pilot the Finley Farms #77 against the King of the West Sprint Car Series. Chico based CBS 12 caught up with Larson and talked about how he is viewed in the eyes of NASCAR stars and his ride with Jeff Gordon’s Kick-It Foundation for Gold Cup.
What do you think his chances are at repeating his impressive feat at this year’s Gold Cup? Can he make it 2 in a row? Leave us a comment below and give us your opinion of “Young Money”.
