Every year the National Sprint Car Hall of Fame located in Knoxville, Iowa pays a special tribute to a driver. Last year the hall of fame honored Tony Stewart. This year the spot light shined on another NASCAR star Jeff Gordon.
The exhibit featured the familiar NASCAR Dupont Chevy and traced back into his roots. “They went over and above any potential expectations,” stated Gordon as he saw his former midget, sprint car and champ car rides. Check out part of the exhibit and Jeff Gordon’s comments in the video.
The video brings up a very good question, do you consider Jeff Gordon as one of the best open wheel drivers of all time?
