Up Next For USAC Amsoil Sprint Cars – Indiana Sprint Week!

Sprint Car fans throughout the country rejoice! Indiana Sprint week is finally on hand. The nine day event will feature 7 crazy USAC AMSOIL Sprint Car events during that time. If last year taught us anything, it’s that you have to be consistent if you want a chance at the championship.

Defending champion Chris Windom started out 2011 with three second place finishes and had only one victory in 2011. But it was enough to capture his first Indiana Sprint Week Championship.

The action kicks off this Friday at the infamous Gas City Speedway and will visit 5 other of Indiana’s most famous dirt tracks, before crowning a champion at Tri-State Speedway on July 21st.

The contenders:

Chris Windom will be looking to repeat his 2011 Indiana Sprint Week championship
Dave Darland is a three time ISW champion having won championships in ’98, ’01, and ’07.
Levi Jones has also won three championships in ’04, ’08, and ’09
Current point leader Jon Stanbrough currently sits 26 points ahead of Levi in his quest for the AMSOIL USAC National Sprint Car Championship.
