All the 2012 World of Outlaws Late Model regulars now have more to fear this coming year, as the 2006 World of Outlaw Late Model Series Champion Tim McCreadie has already committed to running the entire 2012 season.
Over the past few years McCreadie had been hit and miss on the national tour and usually chooses to run the bigger races throughout the season. Recently he told Kevin Kovac of the World of Outlaws how excited he was about the 2012 season, “We’re focusing on the World of Outlaws (Late Model Series) championship,” said McCreadie. “It’s not gonna be like the last couple years where we went to the races at the beginning of the season and then decided we were gonna do the whole series. We have a plan this year.”
Mcreadie has formed a partnership with Warrior Chassis and hopes that this will contribute to his success in the national touring series. “I think working with Warrior is a perfect deal for us,” said McCreadie. “I need to get with a company that I’m comfortable with and can be a little more hands-on with us, and after sitting down with Sanford and seeing his boys down there at his shop I felt like Warrior was where we need to be with our team to be successful.”
McCreadie will start his 2012 championship hunt when the series kicks off at the Winter Freeze at Screven Motor Speedway on February 10th.
Now the question comes to you, who do you think is going to win the 2012 World of Outlaw Championship? Will McCreadie be a legitimate threat? Leave us a comment below and let us know!
