LaSalle Speedway is set for their inaugural Halloween Spooktacular


LaSalle Speedway presents the first-ever “Halloween Spooktacular” on Saturday, October 28 featuring the best value in dirt racing. Fans can watch eight different divisions in two separate afternoon and evening programs for an incredible $5 general admission price, with children admitted free of charge. Pit passes are $30.

The weekend starts off with an open practice session for all classes from 6-10 PM on Friday, October 27. Pit gates open at 10 a.m. on Saturday, October 28, with grandstands at 11 a.m. Racing begins at noon with four classes in action- Mod Lites, Street Stocks, Hornets and IMCA Sport Mods all racing complete programs.

After the afternoon program is complete, there will be Trick or Treating for kids at all race haulers as kids can meet their favorite drivers as well. In addition, there will be a costume contest and a bicycle giveaway at intermission.

The evening program kicks off at 5 p.m. with 4 more classes in action- Open Late Models, Crate/Steel Block Late Models and IMCA Modifieds. The “Halloween Spooktacular” will end the 2017 racing season for LaSalle Speedway.

The season opener for 2018 will be the 7th annual “Thawl Brawl” on March 30 & 31, featuring the MLRA Late Models racing for $5,000 to-win Friday and $15,000 on Saturday. IMCA Modifieds and IMCA Sport Mods will also be in action.
