OneDirt Adds Gold Star Racing Clutches To Our Racing Family

Gold Star Racing Clutch’s popular Ford-2.3-Kit.

In business since 1989, Gold Star Racing Clutches have been a staple in such series the Formula Continental Formula Ford FF2000, several vintage racing series, rally motorsports and the traditional Pony-Stock and Mini-Stock classes at most circle tracks.

Under new ownership, Gold Star Racing Clutches have long prided themselves in manufacturing products made in the USA and using US produced aircraft-grade billet aluminum and high-strength steel.

Many of their components are heat treated and stress-relieved as required for thermal stability and wear durability. Because these are racing components, the crew at Gold Star Racing Clutches recommend and use ARP hardware, and are happy to supply clutch friction material that best suits your specific needs.

Experts in understanding the tradeoffs between clamp force vs. pedal pressure, and heat vs. durability, the company’s technical staff can help racers choose the right product for their application. As an added bonus, their products look great, are race proven, and rebuildable.

Company owner Guy Apple understands the company’s primary principal that specializing is important in racing. “Understanding the racer’s need for weight savings, reliability and durability, we focus on supplying quality products to the smaller power plant racing crowd.”  For racers that are running a smaller engine such as the 2300 Pinto, Chevrolet EcoTec, Toyota 22R, Nissan 2.5, or have a vintage or rally 4-cylinder power plant and need a solid clutch system, give Gold Star Racing Clutches a call and find out how they can help you.
