Terre Haute is known throughout the dirt track world as being not only one of the most famous half-miles in America, but it is also known as one of the most dangerous.
The historic half-mile is best known for producing amazing sprint car racing, but tonight the speedway is going to change things up tonight as the modifieds will invade the flat speedway along with the sprint cars for “NASCAR Night” with the MSCS Sprint Cars & UMP Modifieds.
Joining the modifieds are some very popular NASCAR drivers. Three drivers are taking to the track tonight. Tony Stewart, Kenny Wallace, and Justin Allgaier will be competing for the checkered flag.
Kenny Wallace is pretty pumped to race at Terre Haute tonight as he posted on his twitter account today – We are headed to Terre Haute Indiana Right Now! Tony Stewart and J_Allgaier and I Race Dirt tonight.
The gates open at 6pm and the hot laps kick off at the action track tonight at 7.
