Get Back to Dirt

There’s a new documentary that’s hit the streets, called “Get Back to Dirt.” It follows grassroots drivers throughout the year in the Street Stock division at the legendary Devil’s Bowl Speedway in Mesquite, Texas.

The filming was in-depth as over 260 hours of footage was shot. After a year and a half of editing, it has now been released as an 81-minute movie. With on-track action as well as behind-the-scenes interviews, this is a must-see for any gearhead.

“Ain’t nothin’ better than the smell of a greasy corny dog and burnt rubber and fuel and smoke. All at the same time,” one of the racers says to open the film.

The full-length film is available for viewing at and, but you can get a taste of what it has to offer in the trailer below.
