“We are so fortunate to have great partners like COMP Cams.  Often times, partners that go above and beyond see a great deal of benefit by doing so.  We are always encouraging creativity and collaboration with our partners and I am very happy to put something together like this with such an iconic organization” stated event promoter Cody Sommer.

COMP Cams is owned by the COMP Performance Group, which is widely known as a leader in the industry that houses “Brands That Power The Performance Automotive Aftermarket”  Their products can be found in the majority of race cars across the world.  Involving engine builders in the program was very important to the COMP Cams team.

“We wanted to do something extra that rewarded the drivers, but also gave back to the engine builders. When we reached out to Cody, he had already been working on a race within a race bonus idea. The timing was perfect, and it seemed like a great fit for COMP Cams” Said Billy Carroll, COMP Performance Group Contingency Coordinator.
