Trying to get started

Thanx for the tire size and gear info. We got a pick a part here I just seen on the news that opened up...May be a frequent shopper there in a few months. I just have to keep saving and searching I think. Somebody has a junker somewhere I can get dirt cheap...but bills and kid come first as always. Might put an ad on Craigslist for trading labor for a car to build on. Think it would work?

O.k, life happened and now I need new wheels and my license back. You don't want to know the details on that one...let's just say Lots of tickets and I got tired of making payments on a junker and let it get repo'ed. Hey,at least minimum wage went up 25 cents...
Seeing that I know have Lots of newly found down time stuck at home, does anyone have any suggested reading? Like car books about dirt cars and track setups? May as well put my spare time to good use right and think positive here.

Sure, I've got a Corolla FX-16. How fast can ya get to California, we race this weekend! Ironic part about this. I was in Ringgold, GA in March. Went with my sister to take my niece to see her Grandparents. They live only about 3 miles from Boyd speedway (the way the crow flies, about 8 miles and 20 stateline crossings by road. ) Unfortunately the track wasn't racing that weekend.

we live in cali and race at V.A.R....... THEY HAVE NO MONEY TO GIVE US!!! so we would prob end up just getting the wheel back....lol
