I studied economics at Chapman University under Dr. Kelly Ward's guidance. Alan Greenspan is a personal hero of mine. In the eighties when everyone was going gaga over Okun's law, I was still entranced in the supply side economics. Okun's law is as passe' today as it was in the eighties and I think that your clip shows the relationship of the GOP party and supply side economics is still the correct GNP and financial model. Unemployement rates are simply a symptom and not the cause or indicator. Real estate operates under these same relationships, and like your video clip points out, everyone needs a policeman. Left unchecked, bad things happen.

I guess all that will change on Tuesday when the "second coming" is inaugurated as the next president. My understanding is that everything will be perfect overnight as sweeping change will happen immediately.

I can hardly wait for Wednesday when everything is all rosey and full of rainbows.

i voted republican! in 03 i built a house. finished it in early 04. it was taxed at 270,000.00 for house,shop and 6 fenced acres. in 06 they value taxed it for 420,000.00 and could have sold it 10 times for that price! that was scary then and even scarier now! im just now figuring out why and what happened and i can honestly say im scared to see how bad things are gonna get before they get better!!!
