Newbie from Ohio

Hey, Finda triped over this and fell in LOVE, I don't race, But watch what ever type of dirt race I can when it's on the tube !! Cuz it's free !!
Build alot of street stock and sportsman cars and also alot of modifields from the 70's .
This one if not the best web fourm for model dirt cars on the net !!

Mike welcome to the site, I too am into street stock cars and would love to hear what it was like in the 1970s when Dirt was really making such huge headway. Any tips you can share?

Welcome. What got you into Dirt track racing?

When I waz a kid, ( the mid 60's ) There waz a small track out side of town.
My dad would take me there. Danny Dean, who Helped and raced with Donnie Moran. Got his start there.

Donnie Moran is a hell of a driver. That's pretty hefty company. I always thought that Moran was going to go into NASCAR, but he never seemed to make that transition, or he didn't want to. Still one hell of a dirt track driver.

You must be from Ohio?
