Sniff , Sniff, waaaaaaah and here I was thinking about offering you a ride in the purple beast

Now I think I'd rather take my chances with a "Tom" driving it.

Maybe it's not the name. Maybe it's the red and white color scheme! Both you and Mad Maxx are red and white, and Tom wasn't the only one having problems with Mad Maxx. My Corolla was red when I bought it and the water pump went bad. Painted it blue/ black and purple/ black. Been happy ever since. The Nissan was red and white. Stuck it in the wall in turn 4 at the first practice. Painted it Mike Wizowski green and white, been pretty lucky so far. My mom's Accord was red when she bought it. Let Dad drive it and he cooked the motor. Replaced the motor while it was still painted red and that's the motor she just blew a hole in the block last race.

Get rid of the red!!!!

Yup, and it looks like I'm going to have to go outside the office to find it!

I have been out on a dirt track more times that you have in three years, and I've only been once!

Or, next time borrow a more reliable car. Or should I use the term "idiot proof"

Maxx is a great car, or was a great car. Just had a couple new drivers that don't understand finesse.

Maxx will be back, better than before, and the driver(s) have learned a couple of things.

I'll get Mrs. Earnhardt to talk to the drivers so they understand what the deal is. "finish or get fired" and "you break it, you bought it".

Maxx was built by a good driver. I'm sure every "trick" imaginable has been considered. Unfortunately, when things sit for awhile they develop little Gremlins.
Your driver(s) will get the hang of it eventualy. Just need to practice patience. All that matters is who's in first at the checkers and you've got 20 laps to get there.
