Default Dirt Track Restarts. Single File or Double File?
With the World of Outlaws Sprint Car Series announcing that they would conduct all restarts as double file restarts this year, we wanted to know what you think.

double file will be cool, i think that it makes a better show also.. or "cone" restarts after a yellow.. that would be neat to see

Double file. Lapped cars on the inside, lead lap on the outside, BUT only if you have a multiple groove track. One groove track would turn into a pile up in the first turn.

put them lapped cars in the back! Have #1 and #2 battle side by side for the lead.

Well, considering some of us Yahoos at VAR can't seem to get into a single file line some nights........ alternating rows might be prove too difficult!

Great idea Bobby. Get it out of the promotors head of "well he had to pass that lapped car so you should also"

Double file. Lead lap cars in the front. And get rid of the "stay in line until AFTER the flag stand." If we can go at the cone LET US RACE AT THE CONE. Might lead to bigger pileups but the fans would go nutz!!!

Perris did double file restarts in the Street Stock class last year. I think it worked out pretty well. The line up is easier to screw up but the track didn't seem to care.

What are "cone restart"?
