its when everyone is lined back up during yellow, they put a cone on the exit of turn 4 , as you come to it you pick inside or outside the cone, that is the last caution lap, the green comes down when the field comes out of 4 like normal... its pretty cool, you gotta know for sure if you go to the outside you better be on it when the green comes down, you can win or lose a race real easy on it. hope this helps Curtis

I voted Double file since there was no option for Deleware (Dixie) Double file restarts. Thats where the leader gets the front row alone then the 2nd place choses inside our out on row 2. The rest of the field is set of of his choice. There is a variation of the Dixie where all the guys in the even positons choose in or out for their row. The key to keeping the Double file fair is an incosistant flag drop so no one can time it.

to add on to that if 1st palce chooses the outside 2nd place can pull op next to him on the inside. also it might give the last place car a chance to pull up next to th leader if everyone chooses the inside. so really if you are in last you have a chace to start 2nd on the restart

I enjoyed double file restarts last year at Perris in the street stocks! I made the racing a lot more exciting and also it gave so many more opportunities to let other drivers other than the fastest to win! Although I was never in the front to dislike the double file restarts, however I was second and I just gave me a couple more tries at the leader when he would normally pull away from you!

Thats fun to watch. Guys from the back of the field can move up positions by taking the "questionable" line. Kinda a make or break last chance shootout.

I think we can all agree...... GET RID OF THE BORING SINGLE FILE STARTS!!!

Double file or single file restart, one thing I'm in favor of is picking the lapped cars out of the "pack" on a caution with less than 1/2 the race left. Leaving them in between the fast cars makes more cautions. The lead cars should be able to race one another uninhibited. Much more exciting to the fans to watch a race to the finish instead of one guy getting held up by a slow car that won't hold a line.

Just the opinion of a "lapped" car.

I agree with you Nerd the lapped cars should start in the back,, If they would have done that at the last Turkey Classic I was at My car wouldnt have gotten wrecked, I passed those kids 3 times!! I could have raced another year at least.

Lets not even start with kids and Turkey Classics at the same time as cars being wrecked....

See! That's why my car is equipped with "Rubber Baby Buggy Bumpers"!
Have big enough Hoosiers and they just bounce right off!
