Default ButlerBuilt Sprint Car Seat

We stopped by Butler Built Motorsports Equipment and talked to Technical Advisor Scott Zurawski about the newest product from Butler Built. Scott showed us the E Z Sprint Car seat, which will be available in 2010. These seats are so new to the market that they are not even listed on their website yet, so these photos are likely to be the first view of the seats for our readers.

According to Scott, Butler Built designed these seats to exceed the SFI standards for sprint car racing seats. Many of the same features from the previous versions of Butler Built seats have been incorporated into the new E Z Sprint Car Seat plus some new engineering that make these seats among the best on the market.

Features of the Butler Built Sprint Car Seats:
  • .090-5052 grade aluminum
  • Integrated head and shoulder system
  • Compatible with HANS device and other strap type head restraints
  • TIG welded for added strength by certified welders
  • Properly reinforced in all critical areas
  • Extended right and left lateral supports for legs
  • Right and Left lateral supports for ribs, pelvis, and thighs
  • "Swiss" holes incorporated to keep the seat lightweight without compromising the strength
  • Aluminum seat extrusions for added strength
  • Molded seat belt hole trim
  • Contoured seat bottom
  • Energy Impact absorbing foam
  • Velour fire-retardant seat cover
  • Custom fitted to driver dimensions
