This year marks the 40th anniversary of the World 100 and only 26 drivers have won the globe trophy. The race has been known to change a driver’s career. Winning the World 100 will highlight a racer’s career.

The Dude breaks a 77 race winless streak by taking the checkers at Cottage Grove Speedway on Wednesday evening. Lasoski passed Craig Dollansky to take over the lead and held it for the remainder of the race.
